My name is Candace Black. I am a recently renewed National Board Certified Teacher in World Languages Other than English (French) - Early Adolescence through Young Adulthood. I have been teaching high school level French since 1997 at a variety of schools in the Rochester and Buffalo areas. In 2006, I joined the staff of Eastridge High School as a French teacher. Since July of 2012, I have also been serving as the International Baccalaureate Program Coordinator. I am currently the President of the New York State of Association of Foreign Language Teachers (NYSAFLT), Secretary/Treasurer of the Western New York Consortium of Baccalaureate Schools (WNYCBS), and the Secretary/Treasurer and Webmaster of the Rochester Chapter of the American Association of Teachers of French (AATF).

Along the right margin, you will find pages with materials from a variety of professional development workshops. The single greatest resource available for teachers, in my opinion, is our colleagues. One of the reasons I created this wikispace is to encourage teachers to share their talents in the teaching of World Languages. If you have used any of these templates contained on this wikipage (or you've created your own) and you would like your creation to be included here, please email it to me.
